Books, games, film, comics, and television offer tons of inspiration for cosplayers. It’s impossible to count the number fictional characters you could choose to dress as — especially once you factor in a variety of looks and outfits. But even with so many options, you can always go the route of original design. Vanessa, also known as Deakath of Onirium Studios, excels in that department. She creates costumes from the ground up and makes every aspect of them. Her concepts aren’t quite like anything else I’ve seen. Case in point: this Celtic battle faun ensemble.
Vanessa’s combined fur, makeup, and absolutely stunning leatherwork. If you flip through her portfolio on Facebook, you’ll see tooling leather and dying or painting it seems to be her specialty.
