Bloodborne’s Gehrman, the First Hunter, is one of the big bosses in Bloodborne. he has a ragged, ghostly appearance, but don’t underestimate him. The husband and wife duo known as Walrider Cosplay made the caracter’s costume, and as you can see from the above photo, they really captured his haggard look. They did an especially impressive job of aging the fabric and creating a killer replica of Gehrman’s giant scythe. They shared some notes on the making of the costume on DeviantArt:
This Gehrman was made using both leather and 100% cotton for the costume itself. The hat, gloves, cape, and bracers are all hand stitched leather while the jacket/pants and lining were done in cotton. The Burial blade is made using heat shaped pvc pipes and the blade itself was sculpted from foam, then covered in fiberglass. The blade does trick and comes off using magnets. The gun is not pictured, but it was made using a myriad of items.
