Epoxy Resin bathroom table

Hi,

I have a quick question. I am in the middle of applying epoxy resin to my bathroom table.

This is a first time for me trying to apply epoxy to anything.

I did the mixing, applied it to the table, spread out, and i am now in the process of trying to get rid of all the bubbles. It seems however that the more i use a flame, the more bubbles seem to appear.

Is this normal, am i doing something wrong?
