Ethan and Lauren are dedicated cosplayers who make up the team Thousand Face Cosplay. They’ve dressed as all sorts of characters from franchises such as Game of Thrones and Frozen. They’re so dedicated they learned bits of Dothraki and High Valyrian to make their Game of Thrones cosplay more complete.
One of their latest works is from Borderlands 2. They’ve taken Krieg the Psycho’s Warm and Toasty skin — it’s a holiday look — and mashed it with Frosty’s melting head. It’s a cool and festive idea, and they way they did the cel-shading to make the costume and snowman head match the look from the game is beyond neat. The treatment makes Krieg-Frosty look like she walked right off the screen (Lauren’s wearing the costume). See a few in progress pics below and then head to Facebook for more.
