[Question] running cables through walls

I imagine these bundle will be about 1.5 inches thick and I don&#39;t know if it is okay and legal to drill through the wood in the attic or if it needs conduit. </p> <p>Any advice?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by
