Im doing a triple monitor wall mount into a 2x4 that will ultimately be attached to the back of the desk, however, due to the size of the monitors and the limitations of the wall mounts, I will have to add more wood behind the left and right monitors. The screws that came with the wall mounts are 2" in length, and the 2x4s are 1.5"x3.5" giving me 0.5" over depth or only 0.5" into a second 2x4. Is 0.5" enough to support a 10lbs monitor?
