Laminate, tongue and groove 'wood' flooring panels are sliding

We bought a house that needed floor to ceiling work and one of the things we did was replace the flooring in the house with the least expensive laminate flooring we could find. We had it installed (not DIY, although, it was about the only thing we didn't do) by people who over-represented their abilities.

The boards do not go tightly from wall to wall everywhere, and in a few spots they slide maybe 1/2 inch. Little gaps appear between the boards (the smaller, end pieces, not the longer length-wise edges) that can be 'kicked' back into place by sliding the boards back together. The sliding is getting worse, too, as time goes on. It used to be small gaps that only showed up when someone obviously slid the boards. Now, our cats and dog and move them by stopping quickly...

The edges are mostly under molding, but some are under our dishwasher and cabinets. There is a thin layer of underlayment between the 'sub floor' and boards.

We will eventually replace this "entry level" flooring with better stuff, but there are still lots of things we'd rather do first. The floor looks okay (even for such cheap laminate) and we'd rather just try to fix the appearing/disappearing gaps.

What options do we have to 'lock' these boards in place?
