So I'm trying to retrofit two wall mounted kickspace heaters into an existing forced hot water heating system. This is all part of a kitchen renovation, by the way. I set up a 3/4 inch one pipe loop to feed everything. Branching off of that I used 3/4 to 1/2inch Taco Venturi Tee fittings on either side of the heater loops.
The problem that I'm having is that while the main loop heats up, none of that heat seems to make it up to the heaters. All the air seems to be out. I'm pretty sure that the Tee fittings are installed in the right direction (that's what I first though the problem was). Does anyone have any ideas? Or should I just stick ball valve in between the tee's and throttle it down?
