In 2012 I decided it was time to start brewing cider. After some decent results with store bought juice, then orchard cider, I decided it was time to really ramp things up. So in the fall of 2013 the time came to build my own press and scratter. I opted for a Rack and Cloth press. I documented, poorly, the process. I broke up the pictures into a few albums. I've added descriptions, but would be happy to fill in any gaps that I may have missed.

Hopefully some of you find this interesting... I'll try to answer any questions as best I can.
Edit: A few people have commented on the need for a shroud to cover the flywheel/belt/motor assembly. This is on the top of my priority list before next season. Thank you for your safety concerns :)
