Once upon a time I was a young lass in university buying a glass tabletop desk from Ikea. Did I buy the straight up, timeless, plain plane of glass? NO! I bought the version with flowers and ladybugs patterned on top in black. And now I am a lass regretting that choice and looking to revamp this desk.
I saw this very cool tutorial: http://thecrazycraftlady.com/2015/01/diy-concrete-dining-table-top-and-dining-set-makeover/ and I'm hoping to use the same product (Henry FeatherFinish Floor Patch concrete) to apply to the top of my glass desk. So, not a really thick concrete job here, just enough to cover up the ladybugs.
Here is my question that I'm hoping someone here can answer for me: will the concrete adhere to/work with the glass? I emailed the company that makes the product, but they basically said they only provide advice about using it for smoothing substrates prior to installing flooring. Any help would be appreciated! Just don't want to buy the concrete if it's not going to pan out.
TLDR: Can you cover glass with concrete? Will it adhere properly in whatever way concrete does?
