Hi DIY. I've got a need to project images onto a couple of projects I am working on so that I can trace them and then paint. I've tried my local library to see if they still had old transparency projectors - they don't, and neither does the local school system, so I can't borrow one for a short while. Craigslist occasionally has them but I cannot afford to pay for one ($150, used? ouch) when I won't be using it extensively.
The main reason I want to use a projector is so that I can vary the image size by eye in relation to the project itself and other images on it. Also, my printer has never been able to print 1:1, and I don't know why, so I can't fix it. Even if it could, I'd still need to vary the size on the fly.
Does anyone have any work-around ideas, or thoughts on how to proceed? I appreciate any thoughts you can offer.
