so I plan to eventually make a pair of custom lightsabers from scratch (melting down the aluminum and brass, forming them, stuff like that) and I was thinking of possibly using magnets to fasten them together into a saberstaff, the thing is if I do decide to do this, what kind should I use? I was thinking I might go with some neodymium or neodymium alloy magnets but would this possibly be too strong? there would be a few millimeters of brass between the two/groups of two magnets would they be able to sufficiently hold the two sabers together without making it impossible? not to mention, would this potentially damage the electronics of the saber? I plan to use the electronic stuff from saberforge, if that will affect with anything.
