Bulb out in my bathroom

So i have a bulb out in my bathroom (now its 2 bulbs out). I thought it was gonna be a simple change, with a screw on bulb. When i went to unscrew the bulb that was there i saw something I am not familiar with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
