[HELP] - Clip from backpack to steering wheel

Hi.

I also have a Jansport backpack a la http://bit.ly/1Zmdrvs.

Because of various reasons, mainly not getting my car stolen, I take my steering wheel with me around campus. What I've been doing is getting the strap that tightens/loosens my backpack strap and tying a knot so it basically hangs off the backpack on my side. There's gotta be something I can rig so that I can hook on/hook off my steering wheel off my backpack quickly, I just don't know where to look. Any tips would be appreciated.
