The Edward Scissorhands costume is relatively simple except for one component: the hands. And those are complicated enough to make the whole endeavor complicated. Ryan Wells tackled them though and built them from regular Worbla, styrene plastic (he sandwiched together several layers of .03 thick styrene), scrap leather, and tool handles. He also used black Worbla:
I used the black Worbla to sculpt the handles on the blades. The less sticky properties of the new stuff made it easier to build on the styrene without attaching itself to it. These will be easier to paint separately without masking the chrome blades.
He even sculpted the bolts for the piece from black Worbla. Ryan noted the black Worbla is stronger than the original Worbla so it allows for more manipulation without bending and tearing.
