Cosplayer Lady RoseTea is into the hobby of cosplay because she wants to have fun. She crafts every part of every costume she makes from the clothing to the accessories and props, and she pours time into getting the details just right. Case in point: this jeweled Belle costume. This is the first cosplay Lady RoseTea has completed after taking a short break, and she said it gave her “the opportunity to challenge myself and to learn new techniques, which is what ultimately drives when it comes to cosplay making. It was an awesome experience, even if by moments I was thinking that I could not achieve my goal and became lost in all of it sometimes.”
You can see a few in progress photos below that show off how much work went into crafting the gown. RoseTea hand-painted the fleur de lis pattern all over the skirt portion of the dress and then added the jewels by hand. She made the crown from Worbla and did a lot of work getting the wig just right.
